About Kal Reasons
A Passion for Knowledge
As a child, I dreamed of becoming a bestselling author, and it was common for me to devour every book I could access. I worked diligently throughout grade school to maintain perfect grades, and the opportunities I had to write were where I was able to shine with my creativity. This, combined with a passion for art, photography, and investigation, communication, and community pushed me toward majoring in public relations.

In 2019, I had my youngest child and started college in the same year with the determination to accomplish my goals, no matter how they may adapt. When the pandemic hit, it became evident that more resources for the LGBTQ+ community were needed. Because of this, I helped to co-found the West Tennessee LGBTQ+ Support group on Facebook, which has grown into a brand larger than I thought possible. Today, we are working towards building national recognition as a brand that empowers, enlightens, and educates our community.
